This is typical k bbq. The ambience is really nice, and their food is fresh and tasty. We didn't have a great experience because my friend got sick. They gave my friend some pills, which was really kind.
I come here pretty regularly and I've never had a disappointing experience! The wait staff is always very kind and attentive and the food is absolutely incredible. The chicken is so tender and flavorful and has become a favorite of mine. It gets pretty busy later in the evening so I'd definitely plan to get there before 6pm if you enjoy a quieter meal, but even during their busier times, it is a very enjoyable experience.
Good food, fun time for family birthday dinner. 7 guests, ages 7 - 71. Favorite meats were: Hawaiian bulgogi (beef), lemon chicken, and pork belly. The shrimp was just OK - served with heads on, so a pain to peel, and a bit bland. Service was excellent, including patiently assisting the 8-year old who helped with grilling & serving the meats.
We stopped by for lunch at the recommendation of a friend. We were seated quickly and the service was very friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was great and the drinks, sides and sauces were refilled before we needed to ask. For $24 and all you can eat it was a great deal and we left happy. The ambiance is welcoming with a cool vibe and K-Pop videos playing on the walls. We'll definitely be back.
The food was delicious! I was nervous because I stepped out of my comfort zone and didn't know what to expect. I hate I forgot my server name but she was absolutely AMAZING! She didn't miss a beat and helped us willingly with a smile everytime! The meat selection was beyond my expectations. I thought it would be flavorless but I was very wrong! The ambience is like a dinner setting even for lunch but for me it gives calm which I love!
The food and service here were great! The server suggested a soy steak that was delicious. My favorite though was the Pineapple Beef Bulgogi. However, there was some higher amount of fat in the pork and steak - But that was really the only negative thing I noticed.
Amazing food & great service! Steven was awesome- helped us pick our meats and was extremely helpful. K-Pop music videos playing on wall, not too crowded and very lively. Would definitely come to this location again! We got some of the house salad sauce and dipped our steak in it. SO GOOD!
I got a call saying that they wanted to try a Korean barbecue steakhouse so I looked it up and we decided to go! I will start by saying that the inside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful looking from the outside. You wouldn't think it's as big as it is, but once you step into the doors, it actually expand quite a bit if you are being accompanied by any guest, please keep in mind that they will not seat you without your entire party being present . If this is your first time going, then it is a bit confusing as it was for me. I didn't quite understand how to order, however a friend that I was with had frequent a similar place and was able to guide me. Here they have set prices which is typically like a $30 ordeal but you get as much meat or seafood as you want included. This particular place did not have that many sides to choose from however, some other Korean barbecue restaurants have a plethora of sides that you could choose from. We decided to get spicy chicken, lemon pepper, chicken, and shrimp (I did not like the way the shrimp cooked on the grill so I didn't eat it). My friend ordered steak as well however I haven't eaten beef in 12 years so I steered away from that. The main attraction to this restaurant is that you cook your food yourself as you can see in the picture in the middle of the table is a a small fire pit with a grill on top of it so they bring you your meat and you place it on there and you cook it to your desire this new concept to me as I've heard of it before but I had never taken the time to actually come to one of these restaurants, so my friend was trying to teach me how to cook it without burning the food ( let's just say we had several attempts until it actuallygot good. haha). After I got the hang of this was a very pleasing experience. We had so much fun cooking the different meats on the grill and it definitely keeps you entertained if conversation starts to die. As we know from previous reviews I do like to indulge in a drink one thing I have learned that is a staple in every drinkers life is a drink called the incredible Hulk. I have never had it before and decided to try it tonight and idk if it's because I'm getting older or my stomach is becoming weaker, but all it took was one of those for me to start feeling a little "fancy" hahaha! As I'm looking at the menu though, I will say that the drinks are pretty cheap, which is actually refreshing because most places start to hit you with the $15-$20 drink, the highest drink I saw was$12 Although I enjoyed this experience quite a bit, it took some time for me to get there just because I had never done it before so I had quite a lot of burned chicken just sitting around haha. I do plan to go back and maybe even visit a couple of other Korean restaurants and will definitely keep you guys updated on the results. For me I'm going to say 7/10 ( they could use more sides on the menu)
Family dinner While visiting ATL my cousin was adamant that we go here to eat Now I'm not big on all you can eat And they let you start off with 2 meats and you basically just keep ordering So they have a lemon Marinated Chicken/PORK Belly/Pork Steak/Pork Bulgogi BEEF Brisket Steaks Bulgogi Spicy Squid/Shrimp Spicy Rice Cake Japchae noodles Kimchi Assortment of grill-able vegetables Seasoned beaten egg, steamed at your table Now I'm at a table of meat eaters ... so with the expectation of the pork belly.... It was ordered My favorite was the Hawaiian Bulgogi.. tasty and tender I enjoyed the fact that there was a variety and our server stayed on top of making sure that everyone had drinks and sides at all times They play KPop music... (Korean pop music) It's already a little noisy so you yell a lot The Resturant was bright and I loved the lighting I plan to visit one in my area and compare because I was overly impressed
Iron Age is a place I go to frequently. It's all you can eat meats - $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner. My favorite meats are the beef bulgogi and the soy chicken. I've tried some of their other meats but they were bland to me. Their cocktails are really good. The service overall is fine, sometimes it's hard to find the waiter but they make their way around. The ambiance is very nice but the music can be a little loud. I'll return and stick to my favorite meats.
